Following the conclusion of construction works, Kilometro Rosso’s new BiG Technology Center is welcoming businesses
The BiG Technology Center commences its operativity: following the completion of construction, the new industrial hub of Kilometro Rosso Technology Park has officially opened its spaces to companies willing to become part of this new ecosystem devoted to innovation and research. The construction of this hub is the result of the collaboration of Avalon (Project Manager, Designer and Construction Manager on structural and facility works), Archilabs S.r.l. (Architecture) and SB Ingegneria S.r.l. for the executive part of engineering and general Construction Management.
BiG Technology Center is a 13,000-square-meter complex located in Stezzano, in close proximity to Bergamo, the A4 highway and Orio Airport, and is equipped with extensive parking spaces. Harmoniously embedded in the park’s architecture, it promotes and encourages the creation of professional relationships and collaborations, also due to the physical proximity in which it places different business enterprises – Italian and foreign, established and emerging.
Within the hub, companies can carry out research, prototyping and small production activities thanks to advanced technological equipment and availability of gases and technical fluids. Buildings offer the possibility of having up to 40 units of 280 square meters each, which are modular and can be customized according to companies’ needs, and more than 1,000 square meters of industrial coworking space to host startups and collaborative projects.
